On November 14, 2024, FINRA published a proposed rule change to the FINRA Rule 6500 Series, which outlines updated requirements for 10c-1a reporting. The proposed changes reflect a number of concerns raised by the industry regarding FINRA’s original proposal. Following a short comment period, the SEC must determine whether to formally approve the rule change.
